Nestlé birthday cake with NESTLÉ® Infant Cereal Wheat with Honey

Serves 48 pieces 
Preparation and baking: 60 mins

Nutrition per piece
Protein – 1g
Fat – 10g fat
Carbohydrates – 13g
Energy – 144 kcal

Utensils and appliances
Electric whisk
Oven

Butter cream
Ingredients
175g butter
75g margarine
150ml syrup

Instructions
1. Whisk butter and margarine at high speed until light and fluffy.
2. Slowly add syrup and continue stirring until smooth. Set aside.

Cake
Ingredients A
200g self-raising flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

Other ingredients
100g NESTLÉ® Infant Cereal Wheat with Honey
300g butter or margarine
200g caster sugar
4 eggs (grade B)
¼ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions
1. Sift together ingredients A & stir in NESTLÉ® Infant Cereal Wheat with Honey; set aside.
2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. 
    Stir in milk and vanilla essence.
3. Fold dry ingredients A.
4. Lightly grease and line two 20cm round cake pan with grease-proof paper. Spoon cake mixture into the 
    cake pans.
5. Bake in preheated 180°C oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the cake is done (when a knife inserted in 
    the middle of the cake comes out clean).
6. Remove cake from oven and cool down in the cake pan.
7. Decorate cake with butter cream.

Yummy Apple & Cranberry Muffins

Serves 20 pieces
Preparation and baking: 45 mins

Nutrition per piece
Protein –2g
Fat – 7g fat
Carbohydrates – 13g
Energy – 124 kcal

Ingredients A
1 cup self-raising flour
½ teaspoon baking powder


Other ingredients
¾ cup NESTLÉ® Infant Cereal Rice with Apple & Cranberry
150g butter or margarine
¼ cup sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon essence of vanilla
½ cup milk

Instructions
1. Sift together ingredients A, and stir in NESTLÉ® Infant Cereal Rice with Apple & Cranberry.
2. Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy. Stir in egg, essence and milk.
3. Fold in Ingredients A.
4. Place mixture into patty tins to ¾ full, spread evenly.
5. Bake in preheated 180°C over for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
